Dr Clair – Coming out the other side

2020, 2021 and now 2022.  We have all felt the strain of the last few years but I can see bright things on the horizon!  These last few years have brought both professional and personal challenges for me.  Sanctum‘s team has grown both in Hobart and with the launch of our Launceston clinic.  We have moved and upgraded our Launceston site. It is now a grand, light space filled with history and serenity. If you haven’t visited it is a must!

We took our team to Cutera University in Melbourne last year, in between lockdowns, which inspired and reinvigorated our team by broadening our laser knowledge.  This year I have the honour of being a guest speaker at the 2022 Cutera University to be held in Sydney.  I gained a scholarship position at the Women in Leadership course.  I will spend the next 7 months working closely with 32 women all over Australia who lead high powered positions and want to gain more skills in leadership and team culture. Learning from this group has already been boundary breaking for me.

Personally, 2020 meant the arrival of our beautiful daughter Sofia, and 2021 we welcomed our gorgeous son, Edison. Two under two it is and although family life is chaotic at times, it is a joy to feel my little family is complete.  I started back at work in February so if you come and see me you will likely catch a glimpse of little Edison as he is tagging along for the ride for the next few months.

I personally have a list a mile long of the procedures I’d like to get done at Sanctum! 2 years of pregnancy and breastfeeding have put treatments on the backburner so I am roaring and ready to go! I’m booking in for Emsculpt, anti-wrinkle injections, CO2 laser, limelight, brightening masks, Hollywood facials, vascular laser, filler and PRP just to name a few.  So, when you’re seeing me as a patient, ask me what I’m doing for myself and the results I’m seeing.  I hope it will help you decide what is best for you in 2022.
