At Sanctum Medical Aesthetics we believe in celebrating diverse natural beauty. Our facial aesthetics consultations focus on understanding your personal goals, reviewing your history, and assessing your skin and facial structure to determine treatments appropriate for you.

During your consultation, a qualified clinician will discuss treatment options based on your assessment. This may include cosmetic injectable treatments, laser & device treatments, skincare, facials and more. Your clinician will explain what these involve, outline potential risks and side effects, and help to support informed decision-making.

“Patients come to us with concerns about facial lines and volume changes associated with ageing.  The range of treatment options can be overwhelming, and part of my job is to help guide which treatments will work best for you.” Dr Clair McCartney

Wrinkles & Lines

Muscle-relaxing treatments work by gently reducing movement in targeted muscles to help soften lines, wrinkles and areas of tension – smoothing and lifting the face and neck for a refreshed, natural result. At our clinics, all prescription treatments are led and prescribed by our doctors, with treatments performed by both our doctors and experienced registered nurses.

We offer Aesthetic consultations to discuss your concerns, review your facial anatomy and develop a personalised treatment plan tailored to your aesthetic goals, lifestyle and budget. Every patient is assessed individually – because great results come from clinical precision, not a one-size-fits-all approach.

Volumising and Contouring

Prescription volume-restoring treatments are designed to support and define facial contours, smooth lines and folds, and enhance areas such as the lips and cheeks. With clinical expertise and aesthetic judgement, our doctors work to restore features affected by age-related volume loss.

What areas can be treated?

  • Lip enhancement, hydration, balancing and lip line smoothing
  • Restoring lost volume to the cheeks and mid-face
  • Redefining and restoring the chin and jawline, including dimpled chins
  • Softening facial lines, marionette lines, nasolabial folds, bunny lines and deeper folds
  • Under-eye hollowing and tear trough concerns
  • Certain acne scars, pitted or deep facial scars and surgical scars

Autologous PRP and PRF

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) and PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) use your body’s own biology to stimulate natural rejuvenation from within. A small amount of your own blood is drawn, processed and reintroduced to targeted areas of the face or scalp – harnessing the regenerative power of your own growth factors that may help to improve skin quality, stimulate collagen production and support tissue renewal. Because these treatments are derived entirely from your own blood, they are classed as autologous – meaning there is no foreign substance introduced to the body.

What can Autologous treatments be used for?

  • Skin rejuvenation and overall skin quality improvement
  • Fine lines and early volume loss
  • Under-eye hollowing and skin crepiness
  • Hair loss and scalp health
  • Post-treatment healing and recovery support
  • Acne scarring and skin texture concerns
  • Combination with other treatments for enhanced results

Bio-Rejuvenation Treatments

Bio-stimulating injectable treatments represent a new and sophisticated approach to facial rejuvenation – working by powerfully stimulating your own body to produce new collagen over time. These prescription treatments use biocompatible, resorbable substances that trigger a natural regenerative response to improves skin quality, restore structure and volume.

Unlike traditional volume-restoring treatments, results develop gradually over several weeks to months, making them an excellent choice for patients seeking subtle, long-lasting improvement that looks entirely natural. The outcomes can last significantly longer than many other prescription injectable treatments.

At our clinics, all Biorejuvenating treatments are prescribed and led by our doctors, with treatments performed by our doctors and experienced registered nurses under direct medical supervision. A thorough consultation with our doctors is essential before this treatment: patient selection, facial assessment and treatment planning are critical to achieving the best possible outcome.

What can Biorejuvenation treatments address?

  • Progressive, natural-looking restoration of facial volume
  • Improvement in skin quality, thickness and texture
  • Sagging or lax skin in the mid and lower face
  • Jawline and chin definition
  • Temple hollowing
  • Décolletage and neck skin quality
  • The hands
