Lasers, Devices & Skin Resurfacing Treatments

If you are seeking laser-based treatments in Hobart, Launceston or Noosa, Sanctum Medical Aesthetics provides a range of laser procedures delivered by qualified clinicians. Different laser modalities are available across our practices, and treatment suitability is determined during a face-to-face consultation.

Some of our laser treatments are offered at all locations, while others are exclusive to a specific clinic due to device availability. For example, vascular and spot-targeted laser procedures, as well as Laser Genesis™, are available in Hobart, Launceston and Noosa. Treatments such as facial resurfacing, lesion removal, tattoo removal and melasma protocols are currently available at our Hobart and Noosa clinics. Limelight™ and laser hair reduction services are provided at our Launceston clinic.

Your clinician can assist you in coordinating appointments if your recommended treatment is available at another Sanctum location. You may also book through our online booking system.

All laser treatments require a comprehensive consultation to assess skin type, medical history, and individual suitability. Treatment responses vary, and potential risks, side effects and downtime will be discussed during your appointment.

During your consultation, we can help you arrange your bookings if you’re desired treatment is at our sister clinic. You can also book directly through our online booking system.

Laser Genesis

Laser Genesis is a laser procedure that delivers gentle, controlled heat to the skin’s surface. This treatment may be considered for individuals seeking to support overall skin quality or address general textural or diffuse redness concerns, depending on clinical suitability.

Your clinician will review your skin, discuss your goals, and outline the potential risks, side effects and expected downtime associated with the procedure. Individual responses vary, and no specific outcomes can be guaranteed.

This treatment is available at all our clinics and is a mainstay for glowing, glass skin.

Sessions range from $262 -$350

Pico Genesis

Pico Genesis delivers ultra-short pulses of energy into the skin to target pigmentation, sunspots and uneven skin tone, helping to reveal a clearer, more even complexion. It’s a gentle yet effective option for those noticing the early signs of sun damage or discolouration.

Your clinician will review your skin, discuss your goals, and explain what the procedure involves, including potential risks, side effects and expected downtime. Individual responses vary, and no specific outcomes can be guaranteed.

This treatment is available at all our clinics and is the first choice if pigmenation is a main concern.

Sessions range from $262 -$350

Pico Genesis FX (MLA Deep Rejuvenation)

Pico FX takes the precision of picosecond technology further, using a fractional delivery to create deeper zones of renewal within the skin. It’s particularly well suited to those looking to address skin texture, acne scarring and overall skin quality at a deeper level. Your practitioner will discuss whether this is the right option for your skin during your consultation.

Pico is available at our Hobart and Noosa clinics. Appointments can be made online.

Sessions range from $487 – $650

Vascular Treatment | Redness

Our vascular laser treatment is designed to address visible vessels, broken capillaries and redness on the face and body by targeting the pigment within the vessel wall. It’s a precise and effective option for those bothered by persistent redness or visible veins that don’t respond to skincare alone. A consultation will help determine the most suitable approach for your skin and the areas of concern.

A face-to-face consultation is required to determine whether this treatment is appropriate for you. Your clinician will assess your skin, review your medical history and discuss the potential risks, side effects and expected downtime associated with vascular laser procedures.

Appointments are available at our Hobart, Launceston and Noosa clinics.

Lesion Removal – Hobart & Noosa

Certain benign skin lesions can be assessed and, where clinically appropriate, treated using CO2 laser technology. These may include lesions such as benign moles, skin tags, warts, sun-related spots or other non-cancerous growths, depending on individual suitability and medical assessment.

A face-to-face consultation with a qualified clinician is required to confirm that the lesion is benign, determine whether laser management is appropriate, and discuss alternative treatment options if needed. Your clinician will explain the procedure, potential risks, side effects and expected healing time. Many individuals require a recovery period of approximately 7–10 days, although this varies.

IPL & Laser Hair Removal – Launceston Exclusive

IPL and laser devices can be used to target hair in various areas of the face and body. Treatment suitability depends on factors such as skin type, hair characteristics and medical history, and will be determined during a face-to-face consultation.

Multiple treatment sessions are often required, as individual responses vary and depend on the hair growth cycle. No specific outcome can be guaranteed. Your clinician will explain what the procedure involves, along with potential risks, side effects and aftercare requirements.

Body hair removal services are available at our Launceston clinic only.

Melasma

Our melasma management protocol involves a structured assessment and treatment plan tailored to the individual. Melasma is a complex skin condition that can be influenced by a range of factors, including hormones, sun exposure, genetics and skin type.

During your initial consultation, one of our doctors will assess your skin, review your medical history and discuss the factors contributing to your melasma. Based on this assessment, your clinician may recommend a combination of approaches, which may include topical therapies, prescription-based treatments (discussed in consultation) and/or laser therapy, depending on clinical appropriateness.

A Medicare rebate may apply in certain circumstances; eligibility will be discussed during your doctor consultation.

From $262

CO2 Laser Resurfacing

CO₂ laser resurfacing is one of the most powerful tools available for skin renewal, working to address lines, scarring, uneven texture and sun damage. It works by removing the outer layers of the skin to stimulate significant collagen remodelling and regeneration beneath. As a more intensive treatment, your practitioner will walk you through what to expect in terms of preparation, recovery and results during a thorough consultation. Co2 resurfacing is not suitable for darker skin types.

An initial consultation is required at either our Hobart or Noosa clinic to determine whether this treatment is appropriate for you, discuss potential risks and side effects, and provide information about what the procedure involves.

Thermage FLX

Thermage uses radiofrequency energy delivered deep into the skin to stimulate collagen production and improve firmness and laxity. It’s a great option for those noticing skin looseness around the face, eyes or brow who prefer a non-surgical approach with minimal downtime. Results develop gradually over time, with many patients enjoying continued improvement for months following their treatment.

Treatment Areas
  • Face & Neck: Lifts and tightens the jawline, smooths nasolabial folds, and lift the face and neck.
  • Eyes: Tightens the delicate upper eyelid skin to reduce hooding in a special Thermage Eyes treatment.
  • Body: Used to firm sagging or dimpled skin on the abdomen, thighs, arms, and buttocks.

Tattoo Removal – Hobart & Noosa

Sanctum Medical provides laser tattoo removal using technology designed to deliver targeted energy to tattoo pigment. The laser breaks the pigment into smaller particles, which the body may gradually process over time. Suitability for treatment depends on factors such as tattoo colour, depth, age, skin type and medical history.

Most individuals require multiple treatment sessions, although the number of sessions varies and depends on how the tattoo responds. Individual outcomes cannot be guaranteed. Your clinician will explain the procedure, potential risks, side effects and expected recovery during your consultation.

From $95

Limelight Laser – Launceston Exclusive

Face & Body Limelight IPL uses Intense Pulsed Light to target a range of concerns including pigmentation, sunspots, redness and uneven skin tone on both the face and body. It’s a versatile treatment that can be adapted to your individual skin type and concern, making it a popular choice for those looking to refresh and even out their complexion. Your practitioner will assess your skin carefully to ensure it’s the right fit for you.

Your clinician will explain what the procedure involves, along with potential risks, side effects and expected downtime. Individual responses vary, and no specific outcomes can be guaranteed.

IPL pigmentation treatments are available at our Launceston clinic only.

Sessions from $262 – $350

RF Needling with Secret PRO

A Noosa exclusive currently, RF Microneedling combines the collagen-stimulating benefits of microneedling with the added power of radiofrequency energy delivered beneath the skin’s surface. It’s an excellent option for improving skin texture, pore size, fine lines and mild laxity with relatively little downtime. Some redness that day is to be expected.  Your treatment will be fully tailored to your skin’s needs and goals at consultation.

A course of treatments is recommended for best results. No specific outcome can be guaranteed.
