Like many of you, I feel so grateful for this break, the reunion with family and friends, the return of travel opportunities and for good health.
2022 has seen so many high points for the whole Sanctum organisation!
We are more committed than ever to providing the absolute leading edge medical and evidence based services, technology and products to you, our community.
This spring we have celebrated the redesign and relaunch of our signature Hobart clinic allowing us to offer a greater range of retail skin and body health products and devices for you to continue your intelligent ageing journey at home!
We have also significantly grown our team of highly trained clinicians to deal with an ever increasing demand for all our services while elevating the Sanctum knowledge, expertise and experience you have grown to trust.
Our gracious Launceston clinic is now servicing a rapidly growing loyal and appreciative northern community who love our signature Sanctum offerings in a luxurious space now featuring a rare Italian green marble mosaic floor!

2023 will see many of our team travelling to London in June to learn from the global elite in our field! This will allow us to bring to you, the techniques and services you would access if you lived in Paris, New York or London!
We cannot wait to share our knowledge and new skills with you!
This year, Sanctum leadership has focussed at every level to elevate the conversation around beauty and ageing to be as broad, diverse and inclusive as possible.
This is an ongoing discussion and process and we look forward to further innovations and offerings in this area in 2023.
At your repeated request we are in the process of curating limited edition personal and interiors lines sourced to represent ‘Sanctum Style’ for your pleasure at home.
This year this included exquisite limited edition jewellery, ceramic pieces and Venetian trays from my trip to Italy to add glamour to your personal spaces at home.
2022 also saw the launch of Understatement intimate wear at Sanctum.
Understatement was born from the desire to create women’s underwear for women.
Founded in 2017 by three Swedish women Understatement set out to change an everyday necessity by creating underwear that feels as good as it looks.
“The three of us shared the vision of disrupting the underwear market, and wanted to create an inclusive arena to lift up and pay homage to women!” What a perfect fit for Sanctum!
2022 has also been a year of great challenge as we navigate a life in which the pandemic eased but we needed to learn to live with recurrent cycles of Covid infection, Russia invaded Ukraine with brazen aggression, humanitarian crises deepened and we experienced the ongoing effects of intensifying climate change.
Iran has seen persistent protests against oppressive violence and corruption #mahsaahmini and girls and women in Afghanistan have become the target of increasing erosion of human rights and access to education employment and contribution.
Tasmania and Australia offer each of us a great degree of safety and freedom and I am constantly reminded that our privilege comes with responsibility to our global family.
My commitment to include the broader Tasmanian community in assisting globally displaced girls and women continues with events held by @hopeaidunite for @ausforunhcr !
Together we have raised over $250,000.00 over the last 12 months and I invite each of you to join us for our 2023 event!

My personal high point of 2023 was a trip to Geneva, Switzerland to attend the Nansen Refugee Awards, hear Dr Angela Merkel speak on receipt of her medal and to participate in an exclusive private breakfast with 25 international inspiring women in leadership roles, as we look at innovative ways to solve old problems relating to conflict.
I was also fortunate to attend Milan Fashion week, continue my painting studies in Tuscany and attend the 2022 Venice Art Biennale.
